Anne McCulloch, Associate Director, Edge Legal on latest IR trends.  Topics will include sexual harassment and recent cases before Fair Work in relation to casual employment.

11.30am

Damian Peirce, Field Operations Manager, Tasmania, MEGT Apprenticeships Network Provider.  Damian will be presenting on government funding opportunities available to support vocational training in local government.

12 noon

Kylie Rainbird, Technical Claims Manager Tasmania, Allianz.  Kylie will present on workers compensation trends across Tasmania.

Virginia Bashford, Project Officer, Relationships Australia, Tasmanian Suicide Prevention Community Network.  Virginia will present on this suicide prevention program in Tasmania and action plans which can be delivered in the workplace.  The program can assist organisations to ensure that that health, well-being and prevention are a part of everybody’s routines.

Council Focus.  Wendy Sharp, Manager People and Safety, Burnie City Council will present on a WHS initiative for the development of standard operating procedures
